<image:caption>CRJA | 2009-2011 This project involved the design for a large scale mixed-use development and included an entry feature, pool area, sculptures and marina access. Among my many contributions on this project, I am particularly proud of the dhow boat sculpture fountain which I designed and detailed for fabrication. The sculpture was inspired by the site's former use as a small boat tie-up.</image:caption>

<image:caption>Halvorson Design Partnership | 2015 I created a concept design plan for a large mixed-use development that includes a 200 Key Hotel, 50,000 SF of retail space, and various residential real estate. My responsibilities included design of the concept plan and collaboration with the international developer and associated design team. The design effort was an intensive three week process that generated some ambitious, modern designs that will be transformative to the Chelsea waterfront.</image:caption>

<image:caption>Halvorson Design Partnership | 2015 I was the design lead and project manager for the Engineering Building which involved creating five separate landscape designs to compliment the architect's five building intervention schemes. Each successive scheme became more bold and ambitious in both scope and budget. I suggest the use more modern materials and detailing but also strive to make the transition to adjacent spaces and corridors as seamless as possible. The designs were completed within a short time frame and required me to make multiple presentations to some of the University's senior officials.</image:caption>

<image:caption>Halvorson Design Partnership | 2012-2013 As the lead designer and project manager, I created a campus masterplan which involved removing vehicular circulation and parking, resulting in expansion of the Quad's green space. A high-use lawn and under-drainage system allows the Quad to be used for frisbee or large functions immediately after a major rain event. An emergency access route connects the exterior circulation to both adjacent building entrances and the campus at large. Included within the design scope is a new dining terrace overlooking the Quad. The 'Wedge Dining' terrace features an accessible entry way, amphitheater, and a variety of custom seating options. Photography by Edward Wonsek</image:caption>

<image:caption>Project Manager while at Halvorson Design Partnership | Completed Summer 2017 The design of the residence began with a full analysis and corresponding masterplan. The final concept and subsequent site detailing blends the vernacular of the traditional grand victorian neighborhood with the architect’s modern building expansion. Thoughtful material selection, creative detailing and a textured planting palette enrich the landscape for the families enjoyment and entertaining opportunities. Architect: Touloukian Touloukian Inc. <image:caption>Independently Designed | Phased I: Completed Spring 2016 The entrance to the new landscape begins with a garden path from the motor court, leading to two bluestone patios. The elevated kitchen patio has a bluestone counter with grill and cabinetry as well as a seat wall overlooking the grounds. The lower patio features a fire pit set on-center with the existing screened in porch. Firewood can be found within the custom cabinet built into the kitchen counter wall. Beyond the patio is a new pool deck and seasonal planting which helps to provide colorful interest/ texture in front of the surrounding fence. Contractor: Doug Curtis Landscape Contractors, Inc. <image:caption>Independently Designed | Spa Terrace Completed Summer 2016 The client desired a pool patio with a spa with space for lounging and entertaining. I was able to incorporate an aesthetic that suited the space as well as the client's interests. Screen planting, that when mature, will selectively limit the view of their neighboring property. The pool cover is concealed within a custom mahogany bench which matches the benches surrounding the spa. Contractor: Michael S. Coffin Landscape Construction</image:caption>

<image:caption>Independently Designed | 2011 I was approached to design a new awning for this modern home's front entrance. Reusing the existing downspouts saved on budget while reconfiguring the downspouts resolved existing drainage issues. Features include: a cherry wood ceiling with recessed lighting, heat trace wire strung on the awning's roof and within the downspouts ensures the Colorado snow melts for minimal winter maintenance.</image:caption>

<image:caption>Halvorson Design Partnership | 2016 The design for this multi-family condo is built entirely on structure with parking below. The design includes private patios and a communal courtyard. Because of privacy concerns, within and beyond the property, controlling views with selective screening helps shape the design. Designing a lush environment on structure afforded me with a lot of new experiences and lessons learned. The project is currently going through permitting.</image:caption>

<image:caption>Halvorson Design Partnership | 2015 - 2017 Our team collaborated with the Town of Cary, North Carolina to design a one acre park which will act as the anchor for future civic development. A grand fountain is featured at the center of the park. After shaping the park layout in the Design Development phase, I worked closely with the fountain systems designer and structural engineer to create a full set of plans and details for constructing the fountain.
